يعد هذا الكتاب "إعراب مئة بيت مختارة" من الكتب التي لاقت رواجاً سريعاً بين الطلاب لما فيه من مادة جيدة غنية عرضت بأسلوب سهل فهمه الطالب فأحب –إلى حد- النحو، تلك المادة التي لما يزل عدد من الطلاب يجدها صعبة فكان أن حقق الكتاب الفائدة المرجوة منه ومن بقية سلسلة تعليم الإعراب، وهي تعليم الطالب الإعراب ربطاً بالقاعدة النحوية، وهذا ما فات كثيراً من الكتب التي أرادت تسهيل النحو وتبسيطه، ولا شك في أن إعادة طباعة هذا الكتاب غير طبعة في سنوات قريبة بأساليب تقليدية دليل على شهرة الكتاب وأهميته. أما هذه الطبعة الرابعة فقد تميزت من سابقاتها لأن سابقاتها كانت تكراراً ليس فيها زيادة أو تعديل، وكان المؤلف في كل طبعة منها يحاول التعديل والزيادة، والتصويب من ملاحظات كان يستقبلها ويقبلها من الطلاب قبل الزملاء والأساتذة، لكن الوقت كان يدركه ولا يسعفه علماً بأن بعض التعديل كان ضرورياً، وأن بعض الزيادة كان واجباً، لأن فيهما –التعديل والزيادة- تصويباً لخطأ، وربما كان التأخير من حسن حظ الكتاب، فقد تجمع لديه ملاحظات كثيرة أضافها إلى هذه الطبعة من الكتاب.
