حسب ما وجدت في كتبه فهو طبيب عام حلبي سوري وعضو في نقابة أطباء حلب تخرج عام 1955م من جامعة دمشق وقال عن نفسه في مقدمة كتابه "الطب النبوي والعلم الحديث": « منّ الله عليّ بالدراسة الشرعية قبل الدراسة الطبية» والظاهر أنه كان ناشطا في التأليف في فترة الستينات إلى الثمانينات الميلادية
Book Description
الطب النبوي هو مجموع ما ثبت وروده عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، مما له علاقة بالطب سواء كان آيات قرآنية أو أحاديث نبوية شريفة. ويتميز هذا الكتاب بأجزاءه الثلاث، والذي يحمل هذا العنوان بكثرة أبحاثه واستفاضتها وبتسليط أضواء من الطب الحديث عليها بياناً لجانب من حكم التشريع واستكمالاً للفائدة، كما أنه يتميز باعتماد مؤلفه بعد القرآن الكريم على الأحاديث النبوية الشريفة المقبولة لدى المختصين بعلوم الحديث، واستبعد الأحاديث الموضوعة أو شديدة الضعف كالمتروكة والمنكرة، لأنها لا تمثل الطب النبوي. ولقد صنف أبحاث هذا الطب في أربعة أقسام: 1-الطب النبوي الوقائي، 2-الطب النبوي العلاجي، 3-تخلق الجنين وجنسه والوراثة وبعض أبحاث إسلامية طبية، 4-ممارسة المهنة. وقد جاءت ضمن ثلاثة أجزاء ضم الأول منها المدخل إلى دراسة الطب النبوي، وأبحاث الصحة البدنية من الطب النبوي الوقائي، وضم الجزء الثاني باقي أبحاث الطب الوقائي المتعلقة بالصحة النفسية الاجتماعية، والصحة العامة، والوقاية من الأمراض السارية. أما الجزء الثالث فقد ضم أبحاث الطب النبوي العلاجي، والإسلام وعلم الجنين، وآداب مزاولة الطب في التراث الإسلامي.
