انا اعد المنفى اشبه بالكهف بالنسبة لي وعندما عدت الى العراق شعرت بالغربة الحقيقية لأنني انتمي الى فترة مضت ولن تعود وقد قلت لبعض اصحابي اني اصبحت جزء من التاريخ وهذا الشعور ما يزال لدي حتى هذه اللحظة.

وفي المدينة المنورة كان الصبي الذي وّدعه أبوه من قبل جالساً مع أترابه في حضرة المؤدّب عندما شعر بموجة من الحزن تجتاحه وتغمر وجوده.. وشعور غريب ومدمّر باليتم يجتاح روحه.. إن جسده الغض يقشعر.. وانوار باهرة تضيء أعماقه الخضراء.. وحالة لا يمكن وصفها من الاتحاد بالوجود والتسامي ونداءات عميقة تدوّي: الله.. الله.. الله.. لم يعد يستطيع التحمّل أكثر من هذا.. ان روحه الشفافة تذوب... تتحول إلى دموع واحساس بالفجيعة ورحيل السلام يغمر كيانه.. تفجّرت عيناه ينابيع من دمع ومن أسىً شفيف.. هبّ راكضاً إلى منزله يبكي فيما فغر المؤدّب فاه دهشة: ما الذي حصل للصبي؟!
