كاتب صحفي سعودي، ولد في الأحساء، المملكة العربية السعودية، في 24 يوليو 1978م.
عمل في عدة صحف ومجلات عربية وسعودية مثل: اليوم، والحياة، والوطن، وإيلاف، والقافلة، وفوربز، وترحال.
حصل على درجة البكالوريوس عام 2001 من جامعة ويبر الحكومية بمدينة أوجدن، ولاية يوتاه، في تخصصي الاتصالات وتقنيات التسويق.
وحصل على الماجستير من جامعة كولورادو.
وقد نال جائزة الأمير بندر بن سلطان للتفوق العلمي.
ويدرس حاليا الدكتوراه في الإعلام في بريطانيا.
يكتب حاليا مقالا أسبوعيا في جريدة الوطن السعودية، كل سبت، يتناول فيه مواضيع اجتماعية، وثقافية.

((أرامكويون من نهر الهان إلى سهول لومبارديا)) عنوان لكتاب رشيق وفريد في بابه، قدمه إلى المكتبة الزميل الصحافي الكاتب عبد الله بن أحمد المغلوث الذي ركض كثيرا في دهاليز الصحافة وفي أروقة العمل حتى استقر في شركة أرامكو. كيف عاش أعضاء أول بعثة سعودية تصل إلى كوريا الجنوبية، وكيف تجاوزوا خلال وقت وجيز حاجز اللغة الكورية واستطاعوا التكيف والتأقلم مع الأكل الكوري، خاصة طبق ((الكيمشي)) المعجون بالفلفل الحار ! وكيف عاش وتكيف وتأقلم زملاؤهم أعضاء أول بعثة سعودية تصل إلى الصين، التي تتكون لغتها من 48 ألف رمز، ويجب عليك حفظ ما لا يقل عن ثمانية آلاف رمز، ليكون لديك فقط، الحد الأدنى من هذه اللغة؟ لقد استطاع المغلوث من خلال رحلته الميدانية إلى كوريا والصين أن يصف لنا اللحظات الأولى وظروف المعاناة التي واجهها أولئك الفتية، الذين سيحفظ لهم التاريخ أنهم مثلوا أولى الطلائع السعودية، التي جلست في قاعات الدرس الصيني وأمضت الساعات الطويلة في مختبرات جامعات كوريا، رغم مغريات وجماليات الدراسة في أوروبا أو أمريكا. والسؤال الذي ينقدح في الذهن بعد قراءة مثل هذا الكتاب، هو: لماذا تأخر الابتعاث إلى بلاد الشرق الأقصى، باستثناء اليابان مقارنة بأمريكا مثلا، التي وطنها السعوديون المبتعثون في الأربعينيات الميلادية، بينما لم تصل أول بعثة سعودية إلى الصين أو كوريا إلا في عام 1998 وما تلاه؟ !
