وقد ترك أرسطو تراثاً فلسفياً مهماً في المنطق, وفي السياسة, وفي الأخلاق, وفي الفيزياء... إلخ. وهذا الكتاب يتناول قصة حياة هذا الفيلسوف الكبير, ابن طبيب الملك المقدوني, الذي أظهر نبوغاً منذ نعومة أظفاره, وكيف تتلمذ على يدي الفيلسوف النابغة أفلاطون, وكيف كان معلم الإسكندر الأكبر, وأكثر من أثروا فيه.
