الكتاب عبارة عن خلطة أدبية جديدة ، إذ يدور فى أجواء الغرائبيات والرعب والخيال العلمى ، وصاغ العمل عدة أقلام شابة هم : - ( ياسين أحمد سعيد ) : وهو صاحب تجربة سابقة فى الغرائبيات جاءت بعنوان (المنسيون ) ، أما هذا العمل فقد جاء تحت إسم ( خيوط الظلام ) : وفيها يتحدث عن الظلام ، وما الذي يمكن أن يخبئه الظلام، لتتمالك أعصابك جيداً خلال تلك القصة .. حيث ستسمع ضحكة الشيطان أكثر من مرة عبرها .. ويقدم الكاتب أيضاً مقال عن " فجر أدب الغرائبيات" ، فيحكى عن جذور هذا الأدب فى العصور القديمة . - أما عن صاحبة دائرة المجهول الأولى فهى ( داليا مصطفى صلاح) ، وجاءت قصتها بعنوان (اللعنة ) ،و تدور لعنة داليا فى أجواء من الرومانسية الرعب معاً ، وهو مزيج صعب للغاية ، وتمكنت الكاتبة من صياغته بأكبر قدر من التجانس ، فلتحترس خلال تلك القصة جيدًا، واكتفِ بأن تتابع الأحداث من الخارج ، فلا تفكر في الدخول لذاك المنزل العتيق ، فتلك الأسرة البريئة داخله ليست بالود الذي تبدو عليه، ليست من النوع الذي يدعوك على العشاء، إنها من النوع الذي يختطف روحك ، لتكون هي عشاءهم. ويحتوى الكتاب على مساهمات مميزة أيضاً لكل من : • الكاتب المغربى (معاذ بويدو ) : حيث يقدم رائعة قصيرة من الخيال العلمى تحمل إسم (غزاتنا ) .. • دكتور (مصطفى سيف الدين ) : ويشارك بتحفة قصيرة من أدب الفانتازيا جاءت بعنوان (أروح ودمى )
