كلما سألت عن طريق القصر المسكون، كان ياتي الرد نفسه: لست بحاجة الى معرفة الاتجاهات، فالقصر يجدك. بعد ظهر يوم جمعة عادي، يقرر فهد وفارس ونور وسامي أن يقوموا بالتحقق من إشاعات تدور حول قصر مسكون يبعد مئة كيلومتر عن بيوتهم. لم يكن عندهم أدنى فكرة عن أن هذه المغامرة سوف تغير مجرى حياة كل منهم الى الأبد، وأنها ليست مسألة مواجهة بعض الجن المشاغبين فقط. "القصر المسكون" يأخذهم في رحلة عبر الزمن، وعبر امتحان الذات. فالأحداث تكشف عن أعمق الأسرار عند كل فرد من أفراد المجموعة عند قيامهم باستكشاف قصر سابق لأسرة أحد الشيوخ، تسكنه حالياً كائنات عجيبة في الليل. إنها قصة من الماضي وعن الحاضر وعما يمكن أن يحمله المستقبل. وهي تحتوي على ما هو فلكلوري وفلسفي وواقعي. "مسكون" قصة مرتكزة على قصر موجود في الامارات، يقال انه مسكون. والقصة مستوحاة من زيارة الكاتبة للقصىر، مما ولد عندها شكوكاً وأسئلة عن مواضيع عدة كالصداقة والوحدة، عالجتها كلها في الرواية. وفي النهاية، من الأفضل أن تترك بعض الأسئلة بدون أجوبة.
