والكتاب يقع في أربعة وثلاثين باباً وهو يعرض لعمليات التشغيل بورش السيارات، ويوضح المبادئ الأساسية للسيارة وإدارة المحرك. يعرض لقياسات المحرك وأداؤه لأنواع المحركات كما يبين الأجزاء المكونة للمحرك وللمجموعة الكهربائية. ويعرض لمنظومة الوقود ومجموعات الوقود لحركات السيارات ويتناول بالشرح والتفصيل ما يتعلق بالأجهزة المساعدة للقيادة والإيقاف والإنارة وتكييف الهواء ورفع زجاج النوافذ وحفظها والقيادة التلقائية.
