في مجموعتها الشعرية "مقامات المزهرية" تحاول الشاعرة لمى الغماس اقتناص اللحظة والتمعن بها. لتجعل القارىء أكثر تقبلاً وتمعناً في النص، فنصوصها ما هي إلا عبارة عن ومضات متتالية متناسقة تتصاعد وتخفت مع تصاعد وخفوت الحدث، على وفق تسلسل ذهني واقعي، يتعامل مع حياة وعوالم الشاعر الرومانسية العذبة، والتي كثيراً ما تتشابك مع واقع الحياة وتوترها. هذا ما نلمسه في مقاطعها الشعرية التي وسمتها بـ "حفلة شاي" وفي ومضات شعرية متناثرة على امتداد المجموعة. نقرأ لها: (أغنيات على جدار الذاكرة): وإن انعتقنا من حبّ ما، / كيف ننعتق من الذكرى / التي تصاحب كل أغنية / غنّيناها معاً؟"، وفي ومضة شعرية أخرى نبثها على شكل رسالة لامرأة عاشقة بعنوان "رسالة شوكية" تقول فيها: "وهي تكتب رسالتها الأخيرة إليه / هربتْ من عينها دمعة / نبتَتِ من إثرها شجرة صبار / جرحت بأشواكها يدَ ساعي البريد".
يضم الكتاب قصائد متنوعة الأغراض والثيمات الشعرية بما فيها قصيدة النثر توزعت على أربعة اقسام هي: 1- "حفلة شاي" ، 2- "أحاديث على ضفة القمر، 3- صولوهات، 4- أصابيع مشمشية.
