كتاب في تعليم اللغة العربية للأعاجم من كبار السن، اعتمد فيه المؤلف بالدرجة الأولى على المحادثة في تقديم المعلومة ثم على النص. وغطى هذا الجزء من الكتاب على صفحاته موضوعات الحياة اليومية التي تهمُّ من يتعلم لغة جديدة أن يبتدئ بها، وتفيده في الاستعمال الضروري.شتمل هذا الجزء المزين بالصور الضرورية على عشرين درساً، وهي "الحروف العربية " وما يتعلق من مشكلات النطق والتنوين والرسم، السؤال عن الأشياء، الجسم، العالم والوطن العربي، اللقاء والتعارف، السكن، المدينة، الهوايات، السوق، المطعم، الفندق، الملابس، الاتصالات والمواصلات، الطبيب والطبابة، الكتب والصحف والمجلات.لامس المؤلف إلى جانب ذلك القواعد النحوية الضرورية مبسطة من خلال النصوص واسئلة. مع إيراد تمارين حيوية مختلفة ومتنوعة مثل ملء الفراغات وتوصيل الخطوط بين الكلمات المتجانسة، وسرد القصص، وترتيب صور، وتمييز جمل صحيحة من أخرى مغلوطة، وتركيب جمل، وسوى ذلك مما يفيد المتعلم غير العربي.
