كما قدّم أيضاً في نهاية الكتاب قائمة بالمصطلحات المستعملة فيه وما يعادلها باللغة الإنجليزية مرتبة ترتيباً أبجدياً، وذلك حتى يتمكن القارئ من قراءة المراجع الأجنبية. وبشكل عام قسّم الباحث كتابه إلى ثمانية أبواب وعالج فيها المواضيع التالية: الباب الأول: المصفوفات، الباب الثاني: المحددات، الباب الثالث: المعادلات الخطية، الباب الرابع: الفضاءات المتجهة، الباب الخامس: التحويلات الخطية، الباب السادس: فضاءات الضرب الداخلي، الباب السابع: القيم الذاتية والمتجهات الذاتية، الباب الثامن: القطرية.
