"صابرة وأصيلة" عمل روائي تحاول الكاتبة من خلاله الكشف عن واقع اجتماعي كان يغرق فيه المجتمع العماني في فترة الستينات. قهر وظلم واستبداد يحيط بالمرأة في ذاك المجتمع وسطوة ذكورية مجحفة ليس من رادع لها. تكشف الكاتب عن ذلك من خلال شخصيتها المحورية صابرة وأصيلة الصديقتان اللتان جمعت بينهما صداقة لم يحول دونها سوى موت صابرة التي دفعت حياتها وحياة وليدها ثمناً لغدر شهم الذي غرر بها. "تميل الرواية إلى التجريب من خلال استخدام الحكاية داخل الحكاية وتوظيف الشعر بوصفه لغة مجازية مختلفة عن لغة السرد التقريرية ليكون بمثابة تعليق على أحداث الرواية يسهم من خلال لغته المجازية الموحية والمكثفة في تعميق إحساس المتلقي بالمشهد السردي وطبيعة الشخصية" مفيد نجم ناقد سوري من موقع نزوى ....
