الحائز على جائزة نوبل للآداب 2016 «أخبار الأيّام» الكتاب الوحيد الذي كتبه بوب ديلان، الفائز بجائزة نوبل للآداب عام 2016، والتي تُمنح للمرّة الأولى إلى شخصيّة موسيقيّة، فضجّ الوسط الأدبيّ في العالم بين معترض ومندهش. كتب ديلان أغانيه بنفسه طوال خمسين عامًا، فكان سبب منحه نوبل هو أنّه، فيما كتبه من أشعار غنائيّة «ابتكر تعابير شعريّة جديدة داخل التقاليد الغنائيّة الأمريكيّة العظيمة». دُعي ديلان في الستينيات صوت الجيل الجديد، فكان المتظاهرون الأمريكيون للمطالبة بحقوق الناس والكفّ عن الحرب، يرفعون كلماته عاليًا في وجه الأنظمة. لقد كتب أغانٍ تحمل في عمقها إشارات فلسفيّة وشعريّة، وهمومًا ثقيلة إجتماعيّة وسياسيّة، وروحًا قطّرها من أرواح سابقيه من مغنّي البلوز والروك-آند-رول والكنتري والجاز والفولك، والشّعراء الكبار أمثال تي إس إليوت، وإدغار آلان بو، وبودلير، والقاصّين مثل هوغو، وبلزاك، وغوغول. لقد أصدر أسطوانة كاملة مستوحاة من قصص تشيخوف! تبدأ مذكرات ديلان هذه في مدينة نيويورك عام 1961، حيث الاحتمالات السّاحرة، والأبخرة المتصاعدة من الأرض، وحفلات الليالي الطويلة الحمراء، والحركات الأدبيّة والفنيّة الوليدة. مَن نعتبرهم شخصيّات أسطوريّة الآن، كانوا يمشون حينئذ في شوارع منهاتن، يلتقيهم بوب الواحد إثر الآخر، يتعلّم أسلوبًا جديدًا من هذا، وتكنيكًا آخر من ذاك، وينام على أريكة في مكتبة صديق، ويستمع إلى أسطوانات الفونوغراف في شقّة عشيقة. -- “إنّه كتابٌ عن الحياة، كالعادة، لكنّه عنها بشكل لم نعرف له مثيلًا قط” Rolling Stone “مُدهش… يقبضُ الكتاب على انفلاتات ديلان الإبداعيّة الأولى وروحه الشابّة بتداعٍ يخطف الأنفاس” The New York Times “هنا تأمّلاتٌ في النظريّة الموسيقيّة، وتعليقات حادّة حينًا وآراء مُضحكة حينًا آخر، وومضات شعريّة مع وقائع مُصفّاة وملوّنة لتُبهج وتُحيّر في الآن ذاته” The Boston Globe
