يتحرك النص الشعري عند هيثم راضي في (كلمات رديئة) على وفق التحول من فعل الرؤية (واقع الحدث) المتمثل باللحظة الزمنية الخاطفة فجأة إلى فعل الرؤيا المطلقة بين الموت والحياة ليكونان لحظة واحدة، إذ نحن إزاء تجربة جديدة من تجارب قصيدة الحرب وإن لم تكن في ساحة المعركة، إلا أن تداعياتها، الخوف، القلق، الإنتظار هذه الهواجس استثمرها الشاعر من غير اقترانها بحدث محدد وإنما جعلها قيمة إنسانية نحو (الآخر - الوطن - الإنسان) ومن هنا يكتسب النص عند هيثم راضي واقعيته، وقوته، وجمالياته في آن.
في القصيدة المعنونة "المصادفة المستمرة" يقول الشاعر:
"في إحدى الحروب التي كنت ُ فيها لم أزل صغيراً ...
كنتُ مولعاً بالعدّ،
ومرة عاد أبي من القتال، واكتشفتُ بأن عدد ثقوب جزمتهِ،
العسكرية كان مساوياً لعمري وقتها،
ولقد انتهتْ الحرب، وكبرتُ أنا،
لكنني لم أزل مولعاً بالعدّ،
وعمري الآن بالضبط بعدد ثقوب جزمات سريةٍ كاملةٍ من الجنود،
الذين يذهبون لحربٍ جديدةٍ".
تضم المجموعة عدداً من القصائد نثرية نذكر من عناوينها: "تلعثم" ، "الإنتظار عند المصبات" ، "حيلة قديمة" ، "النعاس في مجرة أخرى" ، "المصادقة المستمرة" ، "مساوئ العد على الأصابع" (...) وعناوين أخرى.
