ولد الدكتور هاشم اسماعيل رزق المصرى فى مدينه نابلس_فلسطين.
ايام الاحتلال البريطانى.
بعد انهاء دراسته الثانويه عمل فى سلك التربيه والتعليم.
وفى سنه 1958 اعتقل من الحكومه الاردنيه لمواقفه السياسيه.
عمل فى المملكه العربيه السعوديه الى ان تم ابعاده من المملكه بسبب نشاطه السياسى.
عاد لكليه الطب _جامعه استانبول سنه 1971 كمقيد فى قسم الانف، حيث حصل على الدكتوراه صيف 1975.

تعبر الرواية عن أحاسيس المغترب واللاجئ بأسلوب يجمع بين النثر والشعر والحوار في نسيج واحد يشد القارئ ببعض الحكم بأسلوب أدبي بعيد عن الوعظ في السياق العام مثل نصيحة الأستاذ لتلاميذه في الرواية (أن من المهم أن تدخل التاريخ, كل ما نقوم به يسجله التاريخ, المهم أن تدخل التاريخ من أوسع أبوابه, يجب أن تطرق بابه حتى يفتح لنا) كما يربط الأحداث في صورة إبداعية أدبية مثل قوله (من وادي التفاح, من شارع عبد الناصر, تحركت الجماهير تحمل النعش, نعش الشهيد) الذي مات من أجل حماية الوادي على خطى عبد الناصر, ويعبر عن ترابط الشعب في المقاومة. إنها رواية جديرة بالتحليل العلمي لثقافة المقاومة والجهاد من أجل الوطن. الناقد: د. فيليب إسكروز
