لكلّ مُصطلحٍ تعريف، إلا الشعر، تعريفُهُ قولُه.
الشعرُ محاولةٌ ميتافيزيقيّة لِتملُّص المكتوبِ مِنَ المضمُون
وإنكارِ المضمُونِ مَحدُوديتهُ في إيصالِ الفكرة.

الشعرُ هوُ ازدراءُ القلم لعقلِ حاملهِ
وخُشوعِ اللغة لتراتيلِ ناظمها الذي يؤمن أن للحبرِ بوحٌ لا لون لهُ،
يمتدُ صداهُ مِنَ القلبِ للقلب مجتازاً وِديانَ الجُنون.

الشعر سرٌّ مكنون بين صدفتي التجربة والعبرة
فالشاعرُ ليس شاعراً بل النّاس من حوله جهلوا
أن للقلب لغةً تتسمُ بالحب والصدق والخيال
تسأمُ أبجدياتها رتابة المُعتاد وتعشقُ الغموضَ والندرة.

شظايا القوارير
يا قارُورَة عِطرٍ ... كَسَّرَتها غَيّرَةُ الريَّاح
دُلِّيني… كيفَ أُحِبُّكِ ، كيفَ أعتنِقُ البَوحَ المُباح؟
فإنّ بداخِلي وردُ وياسَمينْ
وأشواك خيبةٍ وحَنِينْ
وأغصان شوّقٍ دَفِينْ
تختلِجُ كلّ حينٍ وحِينْ
على مرأى الكبريّاء... وغطرسةِ السِنِينْ
دُلِّيني كَيفَ يبتسمُ الوردُ في المقابِر
ومعهُ الصَمتُ والأنينْ
وأحبابَ النُواح
دُلّيني كيف يُزرَعُ الشَغَفُ والتَرَفُ
وجُرحُ ألفُ عامٍ وعام
بأرضِ الأحلام... ينزفُ
قد باتَت أيّامي
تخشَى أحلامَهَا والأماني مُرَصَّعَة
بشظايّا القَوارِيرِ المنثُورَة في حنايا الذاكِرة
والعينُ فضَّاحَةُ السرِّ
هي بما أخفَى اللِّسانُ دوماً تَعتَرِفُ
فأينَ المفرُّ؟
ونشيدُ الهَوَى أمسَى كالصَّدَى
من شَفِيرِ الشظايا... لحنهُ الشديُّ يرتجِفُ
كيفَ أُحبّكِ؟
كيفَ يَصبُّو السِربُ لِبركَةٍ صَافِية؟
وهو يحاوِّلُ عَبثاً الفِرَارَ بِريشهِ
مِنْ وَسطِ العَاصِفَة
وكيفَ أُلَمْلِّمُ غُبارَ حُبيّ
ما بينَ الشَظَايَا والصَّدَى
بإبريقِ شَايٍ
وديوانِ شِعرٍ
وقافِية؟
