لا يمكن لأحد العودة إلى الماضي والبدء من جديد، ولكن يمكن للجميع البدء اليوم وكتابة نهاية مختلفة تمامًا عندما كنت صغيرًا في سنِّ المراهقة وبداية العشرينيات، شعرت بأنني محاصر.. ليس ماديًّا فقط، ولكن روحيًّا كذلك؛ بسبب نمط تفكير مدمر يُسمى التشاؤم هذه الأفكار السلبية سمَّمت: طفولة رائعة ، ومراهقة، ومرحلة مبكرة مليئة بالفرص . هذا التشاؤم يخلق الأسقف و الجدران، حيث لا توجد أسقف و لا جدران !، خلال الوقت الذي كنت فيه محاطًا بالتشاؤم، ركدت أنا، وكل شيء تقريبًا في حياتي إذا نظرنا إلى الوراء الآن، فهذا مضيعة رهيبة للوقت وللحياة ؛ لأنك إذا كنت في حالة متشائمة، فلن تُضطر لقضاء بقية حياتك هكذا بالنسبة لي، فلم يكن لديَّ تشاؤم؛ لأنني تعلمت استبدال الأفكار السلبية بالتفاؤل
