"جنون الطقوس" ديوان شعري يضم ما يزيد عن (45) قصيدة في الشعر الغزلي الحديث للشاعر "إسماعيل الرز" في نصوص وضع فيها الشاعر كل ما جناه الله من جمال الروح وعفوية اللسان، بقصائد تبوح بذلك الشغف الذي يحتاج شاعرنا وهو ينظر إلى الأنثى التي يرى فيها ملكة نائمة في عرش أحضانه يقول في قصيدة بعنوان "عاشقة الروح".
"... وحلمت مع الفجر بأنك ملكتي... نائمة في عرش أحضاني... أزينك بورق الورود فوق جسدك... وأصنع خرائط المدن بين نهديك... لقد أشعلت بركاناً في داخلي... وفتحت باب الجنون في عالمي...".
أما في قصيدة "لحظة وداع" يعطي للمرأة التي أحب الخيار أن تبقى أو ترحل ليقول لها: "عم تبحثين هنا سيدتي... عم تبحثين بين دفاتري... فالطريق مفتوحة... لرحيلك دون إذني... وللهروب من حبي دون أذيتي... أنت حرة الأفعال... وسيدة الخيار في عمرك... فأنت القرار وأنت التقدير...".
"جنون الطقوس" هو بوح شعري عميق عبّر عن وجدان شاعر مرهف الإحساس يعيش الفرح مثلما يعيش الألم فالإثنان معاً يشكلان تجربة الشاعر في هذه الحياة...
