لعل الرواية هي النوع الأدبي الأكثر ملاءمة للتعبير عن درجة التشابك والتعقيد في العلاقات الاجتماعية على أنواعها. ومع أن رواية (غيوم إمرأة استثنائية!) تحاول تفكيك تشابك هذا العالم وتعيد صياغته، فتبرز ما خفي منه، وتضيء الظلال المتوارية خلف حركة الحياة اليومية فيه؛ إلاَ أنها تنسل بهدوء إلى دهاليز عوالم المرأة والرجل بسواء. وخاصة في مرحلة خريف العمر فبطل الرواية "فيصل" وجد في تغريده على الفيسبوك من امرأة استثنائية تدعى ليلى، ما يستحق أن يسعد لأجله فصرخ: وجدتها.. وجدتها. وجد فيصل بعد تفكير عميق، أن في زمني ماضيه ومستقبله، ما يمكن أن يعتبره مخرجاً وحلاً لواقع يعيشه، وفي الحياة ما يستحق أن يعيش لأجله، فأودع عبارة الهرم والعدم، لنصفه الرابض على رصيف الحياة، ونفخ في روح العبارة الأخرى، وجدتها.. وجدتها للنصف الذاهب للمستقبل، وردَدها بعد أن شعر وهو يتحسس ذاكرة هرمه، مهلهلة، ويستنهضها في مواجهة ورطة لذيذة، تحتاجه في هذه السن، فتحرك روحه وقلبه في آن.
وفي الرواية يتطرق الروائي إلى عالم الانترنت ودور الشباب في العالم العربي وهمومهم ومشاغلهم، ويلامس بقلمه "المتحوَل" في العالم العربي في ظل التحولات السياسية ومظاهرها، معتبراً إياها "...تحولات عميقة جداً تطاول بنى متنوعة، فالتحولات تكون أكبر لما تتجاوز حياة الشخوص الروائية إلى تحولات وحياة شعوب...".
وبهذا يكون (أحمد الدويحي) قدم لنا عملاً استثنائياً يسمي الأشياء بأسمائها، بلا مواربة ولارتوش، جامعاً بين التعبير بالفكرة والتعبير بالصورة، فاستحق أن يقرأ...
