لن نجانب الصواب إذا ادَّعينا بأن ابن رشد كان جادًّا في رفضه لـ"قياس الغائب على الشاهد" عند علماء الكلام، لكنه كان مغلوبًا على أمره في مؤلَّفاته التي لجأ فيها إلى هذا القياس! ولن نزداد بُعدًا عن الصواب إن قلنا بأنه كان جادًّا في دفاعه عن "برهانية" الفلسفة، لكنه كان مغلوبًا على أمره في مؤلفاته الفلسفية التي عاد فيها ليصطنع الجدل وينسج علىمنواله! ولن نكون هدفًا لتهمة التجنّي على شارحنا الأعظم، إذا زعمنا بأنه كان جادًّا في رفضه لمفهوم الكسب الأشعري، لكنه كان مغلوبًا على أمره في مؤلَّفاته (الكشف تدقيقًا) التي لجأ فيها إلى هذا المفهوم عينه للخروج من "عنق زجاجة" القضاء والقدر! فقد ظلَّت الفلسفة الرشدية مرتبطة بالإشكالات التي رفضتها، وبالمفاهيم التي استهجنتها، وبالمناهج التي تبني الأطروحات التي خاصمتها، ولم يستطع ابن رشد الانفلات من اعتماد العديد من المفاهيم الكلامية التي خاصمها واستثمرها واستفاد منها في بناء فلسفته [...] ذلك أننا عندما نقف على ما بأيدينا من مؤلَّفات ابن رشد، نرى أن سبيله وسبيل المتكلمة في اللجوء إلى قياس الغائب على الشاهد ، والمنهج الجدلي، ومفهوم الكسب... واحدة كشقِّ الأبلمة !
