Book Description
"الحب خديعة تتدبرها الطبيعة لأداء أغراضها" هكذا تبدأ رواية "سعود البشر" بنظرة تشاؤمية لم يعد مهماً فيها معرفة الحاضر أو ماذا سيحدث في المستقبل.
تقول الرواية حكاية فنان، أحب، ولكن هذا الحب لم يكتب له النجاح بل أودى بحياة "ليلى" محبوبته إلى الموت حرقاً في سيارة، وعجز هو وغيره عن إنقاذها "يجلدني ضميري بسياطه في كل مرة تتراءى لي صورتها وهي تحترق، وتتردد بداخلي كلمات تتشابه كلها في النتيجة نفسها: "ربما كان يجب أن أعثر معها على نقطة البداية"، "ربما كان يجب ألا نتزوج قبل أية بداية". هذا الواقف دفع بالبطل إلى مغادرة بلاده إلى الخارج، وبالتحد "لندن" بناء على عودة صديق للعمل هناك، وهنا تبدأ الذكريات تلاحق البطل ثم ما لبث أن انغمس في حياته الجديدة، التي تحمل معها ثقافة تلك البلدان.
من جانب آخر تتحدث الرواية عن التمايز بين الثقافات (شرق- غرب) والبنى الذهنية التي تحكم سلوكات البشر، ونظرتهم إلى الحياة، كذلك تتحدث الرواية عن الفراغ والضجر والإحباط الذي يؤدي بالشباب العربي إلى النقيضين إما التطرق والوعد بالحور العين، وإما الإلحاد، "... لا أفهم الحالة التي تصيبني الآن، لكني أفهم أن أقداري تقهقه من علوٍ لا تطوله يداي، فأدير لها ظهري غير آبه بها..".
هي حكايات البشر يرويها "البشر" تتشابه في بداياتها، وتتشابه في النهايات، والإنسان هو الخاسر الوحيد، وتبقى الأسئلة دون إجابات!!! "لماذا نحتاج دوماً إلى سبب كي نفهم"؟.
