حين تفتقر العلاقات الاجتماعية إلى الحوار والإنسجام بين أفراد الأسرة الواحدة، هل يمكن الاستمرار والتعايش والوصول إلى حياة مشتركة؟ وحين تختلف منظومة القيم الاجتماعية بين جيل الآباء وجيل الأبناء ألا يؤدي الاختلاف إلى التفكك والضياع؟ وهل يستطيع الحبّ إعطاء معنى للحياة مع خصوصية كل حالة؟
هذه الأسئلة وغيرها تثيرها غدي إبراهيم العيدي في مجموعتها القصصية المعنونة «بعضك نور وبعضك ظلام»، وهي تفعل ذلك من خلال رصد حياة عدد من الشخصيات وحكاياتهم التي قد تتقاطع وتتداخل، تتشابه وتفترق، ولكنها جميعها تعاني من عاطفة مثبطة، وتؤشر على البعد العام لشرائح ونماذج تتشابه طبقياً واجتماعياً في موقعها وواقعها، وتعاني جميعها من ظلم الأسرة أو ظلم المجتمع، أو ظلم الحبّ وقد عرفت الروائية كيف تدخل في أعماق ذواتهم المتشظية عبر مرآة اللغة والدلالات والتوصيف الدقيق لكل حالة راسمةً شكلها ومضمونها القصصين في بعدها الإنساني الأعمق.
من عوالم القصة المعنونة «بعضك نور وبعضك ظلام» نقرأ:
"لو أن القلوب تُنتزع لنزعت قلبي من بين أضلُعي.. ازدادت حدة تأنيب الضمير في حنايا نفسي.. حتى وصلت إلى أبلغ صورها.. فلن أبني سعادتي على حساب تعاسة أختي وشقائها.. لقد انتصر صوت الضمير المخلص على عدوه الخبيث.. لقد تزوجت ليس لغرض الزواج وبناء الأسرة، تزوجت لكي لا أُلقي بنفسي وبأختي وبزوجها وبمن حولي من عائلتي إلى هاوية الجحيم.. ومن تزوجته شخص رائع أحبني بكل ما تحمله هذه الكلمة من روائع.. لكنني لم أحبه، فقلبي ملك لشخص آخر انتزعه مني.. ولا أعلم إن كان سيعود لي قلبي أم لا...".
يضم الكتاب ستة عشر قصة قصيرة جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "أسيرة الأحزان"، "الصمت المؤلم"، "أنصفتني الحياة مؤخراً"، "جبروت إنسان"، "بعضك نور وبعضك ظلام"، "سافرت ولن تعود"، "طموح أنثى"، "صدفة باريسية"، "رحيل القلوب"، "صدمة العمر"، "مكافأة نهاية الخدمة"، "مكعبات السكر"، "بلا مستقبل"، "غصة في القلب"، "بلا هوية ولا عنوان"، و"ليتها تغفر لي".
