تبدو المدينة "فرايبورغ" التي لا هي بالمكان الافتراضي، ولا هي بالمكان الأليف، فضاءاً ممتداً لدى الكاتبة والطبيبة الهنوف صالح الدغيشم، تعيش فيه تجربتها الشخصية والكتابية من جهة، ورمزاً وربما مجالاً للبحث عن الماضي الجميل، والحياة القائمة على الحبّ، في وطنها من جهة أخرى، فتتداخل الصور، وتتفاعل بين الأمكنة، والشخوص، في حركة دائمة ومستمرة كوسائط للتعبير في النص لتؤدي دوراً حيوياً يمكن أن يتم النظر من خلاله إلى عوالم «فرايبورغ رِقَّةُ العُزْلة» التي شكلت ذاكرة الكاتبة وحاضرها معاً وهنا يختلط الكتابي بالحياتي، والمكتوب بالمعيش؛ فنقرأ الهنوف كطبيبة وككاتبة وكأنثى قبل كل شيء وذلك من خلال إعلائها من قيمة "العزلة" واستثمارها في فضاء النص كحالة إنسانية وجدانية انعكست ايجاباً على الخطاب وعلى حياة الكاتبة.
تقول الكاتبة في "الطريق إلى فرايبورغ": "... أخوض تجاربي كطفلة وحيدة، تود أن تجرب كل شيء، فلا شيء يمكن أن يطفئ عطشها للتجربة. لهذا ابتدأت أغوص بمتعة داخل عوالمي الذاتية، وأكتشف نفسي الطليقة، وهذه الحياة تقول لي تعالي أيتها العطشى، اغرفي من تفاصيلي وارتوي.
أكتب الآن، لأدوّن رحلة السير بقلق إلى نفسي، وإلى ذاتي النقية. أكتب عن تحولاتي وما انتابني من تغير في هذه المدينة الصغيرة وبداخلي امتنان لكل العابرين غير المبالين، الذين صنع عبورهم الناعم حكاية في داخلي. أكتب لأن ذهني لا بد أن يحوّل كل صورة عابرة إلى كلمة، كل موقف إلى كلمة لا تأتي، إلى تعبير لا أستطيع الوصول إليه، لهذا ربما أحببت كلمة سراب، عطش، وارتواء.. لأنني أشعر أنها كلمات متماهية، كلمات تعبّر عن حالة يصعب وصفها أو تعريفها عني، ودفاعاً عن حساسيتي للكلمات، أكتب.
أكتب ما يحدث حولي وداخلي، لأنجو من هذه الغربة وأصل إلى سلامي الروحي المنشود".
