بمزيج من النثر الأدبي الرفيع والحكمة الشعرية، قدم الكاتب جمال بن حويرب، العضو المنتدب لمؤسَّسة محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم، كتابه الأخير «أيادي سبأ» الذي كشف عنه في معرض الشارقة للكتاب، ويروي من خلاله قصة مدينة تسلل إليها دعاة الشر، وهي ذات تجارة رائجة. يعيش أهلها في رفاهية، دخلوا في زي معلمين دراويش، وأخذوا يسقون الطلبة من سمومهم وأفكارهم الشريرة المتلفقة بالدين..
فتمكنوا من الوصول إلى عقول الشباب، وشبوا على موالاتهم، حتى جاء اليوم المعلوم، فثارت ثورة الناس، ومنهم بعض المغرر بهم، ودخل الجميع في حرب أهلية سفكت فيها الدماء ودمرت المدن وتفرق القوم، فهجر المدينة أكثر أهلها من كثرة النهب والدمار، «ولم يعد إلى مدينتنا إلا منذ سنوات قليلة، ونحن نحاول إعادة ما كنا فيه من نعمة وغنى، ولكن هيهات أن يعود سريعاً، فلا بد أن نصبر عقوداً من الزمن.. لكننا بالإصرار استطعنا أن نهزم الأشرار، وأن نخرجهم من ديارنا وإن كانوا من لحمنا ودمنا».
من خلال قراءة سريعة لكتاب بن حويرب، تجد أن ما جاء فيه إنما ينطبق بشكل كبير على الوضع السياسي الراهن في الوطن العربي، حيث تميزت سردية النص بمتانتها، لا سيما أن بن حويرب قد رصعه بأبيات شعرية حملت في قلبها معاني عميقة. بحسب ما يذكره الدكتور صلاح فضل الذي تولى التقديم للكتاب، تميز بالبنية الفكرية لهذا النوع من السرد، فهي تقوم على غلبة الحجاج المنطقي والعاطفي لاستخلاص الدلالات المركزية، وبلورة المغزى الكلي من داخل دينامية الحدث ذاته.
الكتاب صادر عن دار الفارابي اللبنانية، وهو يقع في 114 صفحة، وفضل بن حويرب فيه أن يقسمه إلى فصول عدة، من بينها «دمار المدينة»، «لقاء الغرباء»، و«صائد الأفاعي»، و«القول الفصل»، وغيرها. لا يبدو أن بن حويرب قد أورد كل ما في جعبته في هذا الكتاب، ليبدو أن هناك جزءاً ثانياً من الحكاية السردية، وهو ما أشار إليه في نهاية الكتاب.
