كشعاع شمس صباحي يخترق الشاعر "عبد الله زهير" أضواء الربيع الجديد في مجموعته الشعرية المعنونة "قمر يتخلّقُ من مجهول". وفي أضواء شاعرنا بوح شعري يغوص في جوهر الأشياء، يبحث عن كنهها، مستهدفاً كل فكرة ثابتة وساكنة ويجتثها من أصولها ليكسر من خلالها الثنائيات التي حكمت نظرتنا إلى مفاهيم متعددة في الواقع وفي المثال. فيكون الشعر معه وسيلة لفهم العالم ومعاناة البشر وتضميد جراحهم. فالشاعر البحريني يجيد الإبداع لأنه يحمل بين ضلوعه جراحات العرب (فلسطين، لبنان، العراق). وغيرها من مآسٍ. في قصيدة بعنوان [التنادي إلى فلسطين] يقول: من فلسطين أشلائنا تستقي عصر أسمائها من فلسطين كل الشرارات تأتي كلُّ هذي الدماءِ التي في الصحارى وفي أسقف الكون صارت تُماهي هواءً يُرى في فلسطينَ صارت ينابيع مصبوبةً في فلسطين. مهما يكنْ، فالبدايات تبقى بلا نُقطةٍ والنهاياتُ تبقى بلا نقطةٍ والتنادي إلى فلسطين يبقى بلا نقطةٍ يضم الكتاب قصائد متنوعة تراوحت بين الشعر الموزون، والعصري المحدث توزعت على ثماني أقسام تحت العناوين الآتية: 1 – أضواء الربيع الجديد، 2 – تقاطيع في جهات القلب، 3 – مشاهدات في فردوس السفر، 4 – نشيج يتجه إليهم (فلسطين، لبنان، العراق)، 5 – حالات الشاعر، 6 – أومنُ أني أراكِ، 7 – أراقب صمت المساء – في ليالي الصيف، 8 – تنويعات شعرية.
