يحرص الشاعر عبد الله إبراهيم مفتاح في كل عمل إبداعي على انتقاء التصورات الفنية التي تمنح الوجود معنى مغاير، وهكذا فعل في «تلك التي لا تجيء» مقتفياً أثر شعراء الحداثة من الرواد في بلاده؛ فبدا وكأنه يتوسل القصيدة، لا لتكون له فيها جولةُ شِعرٍ، بل ليفتح فيها مغاليق الأسئلة، أسئلة الوجود، وفكرة الأشياء وجوهرها، وهو يعيد بعباراته ترتيب وتنظيم العناصر المتبعثرة في الواقع، محولاً إياها إلى علامات ورموز لغوية ثرية، يكتمل بوجودها المعنى، ويدخل المتلقي بقراءتها في عوالم تجليات لا تنتهي.من عوالم القصيدة المعنونة «رسالة بيضاء» نقرأ للشاعر عبد الله مفتاح:"... مَا وَهنَّا اليومَ/ بل وهن الطريقُ وما/ صلبنا الريح فوق مدائنٍ الرمان في عينيْ أخيكَ/ ولا ذويكَ/ وإنما/ لَئنِ اهتدينا الآن، تعلمْ ما/ تشظى/ في ثنايا الأمس إِفكاً/ وارتمى!/ لا مجال لبث روح الدرسِ في جسد المحاربْ/ أَإلى مَتَى..؟!!/ أَإلى مَتَى تهبُ الحجارةَ طلع رُوحكَ/ نبضَ وَردكَ/ قُوتَ يومكَ/ مِعطفكْ..!!/ حتى أولئكَ – من بنيتَ لهم بيوتاً من ضلوعكَ/ من قطفتَ لهمْ شموساً من نهارك/ أو كنستَ لهم رياحَ المفرداتِ/ تهودوا/ وتنصروا..!/ لمْ يرضَ عنك يهود قومكَ/ لا ولنْ تُرضي النصارى الأولينَ/ ولو تَبِعْثَ الملة الأخرى لهمْ...!"
كتبت قصائد هذا الديوان في الفترة 2004 – 2016، وهي تتألف من قصائد في الشعر العربي الحديث، وأخرى في الشعر العربي الموزون والمقفى (التفعيلة) وجاءت في الكتاب تحت العناوين الآتية: "رسالة بيضاء"، "جموح"، "نشوة"، "القصار"، "شغبْ"، "عطش السنابل"، "فوضى الريح"، "صهيلْ"، "حزن لا ينتهي"، "وتس أب"، "ماءْ"، "توبة"، "صحابي"، "مِسْبحَةْ".
