«ليلة أخرى مع مواطنة درجة أولى» هو جمع لكتابات متفرقة، أي ليس فكرة وتمت الكتابة بعدها لذلك هو يحوي تنوعاً على الأصعدة كافة ويساير كل ما تم عيشه خلال السنوات الخمس الأخيرة منذ انطلاقة الثورة في سورية. الحديث عن الوطن، عن الطرقات، وعن البلدان المتعددة التي لكل منها نصيب من ذكرى الحب. طبعاً الفقر والموسيقا هما الطابع المتنوع اليومي. لا فكرة معينة والعنوان الرئيسي مستنبط من فكرة المغترب في أحد بلدان أوروبا الراقية وعلاقته بفتاة من أبناء البلد الأصليين فيقصد هنا غير المجنسين ولا المهاجرين. والفرق في النظرة والحوار كيف تراه قوياً لليلة لا أكثر ثم يصدمها بحوارات وانتقادات ويصف نقاطاً سلبية لحياتها كرمز للحياة الغربية المادية وكثيراً من الأفكار وبقع الضوء الأخرى، مع فائق حبي".
تحت عنوان «ليلة أخرى مع مواطنة درجة أولى» نقرأ للشاعر سومر عثمان:
"لم يكن في حيّنا إنارة/ ولا شوارعنا مرتبة/ ليس عندنا تراموي ولا باصات كهرباء/ ولا حضانات وحدائق وملاهي/ عندنا الجبال وليس عندنا تلفريك/ عندنا البحار وشواطئنا بسيطة/ ليس عندنا الماركات ولا الوكالات الحصرية/ ولا حتى محال بالة عصرية/ ولكننا كنا سعداء جداً جداً جداً./ أيتها الغريبة التعيسة".
