علي رديش دغريري شاعرٌ تكتبه القصيدة قبل أن يكتبها، هي حالة شعورية وفكرية وقيمية تحمل هوية مبدعها، أحواله، تناقضاته، واحتمالاته، واندهاشاته، وعشقه، وأحداث حياته، وقد أخضعها شاعرنا لسيطرته ورؤيته، لتؤول ذاته ووجوده في النص؛ مثلما وظفها لخدمة قضايا الوطن، والمجتمع والفرد؛ وسؤال العقل والروح والقلب. ما يعني رصد للتنوع المطلق للحياة في تجليّاتها كلها، والتأكيد أيضاً، أن الأشياء في ذواتها، في كينونتها جديرة بالنظر والتأمل والنقد.
تحت عنوان "غُربَةُ شاعر"، نقرأ:
"تَمَرّدَ يرفضُ/ كل القيودُ/ بهذي الحياة/ ويُلْغي الحدودْ/ يُسافرُ/ حتى يَجوزُ المدى/ بعيدا، يتُوقُ/ لذاكَ البعيدُ/ كأنْما يُفَتَشُ/عمّا أضاعَ/ هناك/ ويَحلفُ ألا يعودُ/ تثورُ/ على نَفْسه نفسهُ/ وتَعْجَبُ لم تدرِ/ تُسائلُه:/ أيها الشّاعرُ/ شَقيّاً أراكَ/ وأنتَ السّعيدْ/ ألستَ تصوغُ/ رقيقَ الكلامِ/ بَيَاناً؟/ وتَشْدو بأحْلى النشيدْ؟...".
هكذا يكتب الشاعر دغريري، ألفاظهُ تحمل أكثر من معنى، وكل قصيدة تحمل فكرة ومغزى، وكلما توغلنا في قراءة قصائده سندرك أنه شاعر يمتاز بالجرأة والتعدد والتنوع، ولكن من دون التخلي عن رومانسية ميزته، لذلك، نرى أبياته تنبض بدفء جوانيِّ، وتتقد بالحسّيّة، والمشاعر الرقيقة، فالشاعر لا يتحقق وجوده ولا يكتمل من دون الحديث عن الحب والروح والنفس وهو ما يكشف عنه الخطاب الشعري في هذه المجموعة المتفردة شكلاً ومضموناً.
يضم الكتاب قصائد في الشعر العربي الحديث جاءت تحت العناوين الآتية: "للوطن"، "لو طعت شوري"، "أفرح"، "حُلْم"، "روح وأشباح"، "ما كان كان"، "لحظة صمت"، "شاب الهوى"، "خطوات"، "راشيل كوري"، "ندم"، "قسوة الدنيا"، "غربة شاعر"، "تِرْبُ الأمس"، "رحلة إلى طيبة"، "نديمة الكلمات"، "بعض الهوى"، (...)".
