الشيء الذي يبرز سمة التنوع في خيارات الشاعر خالد موسى، وأن خياراته هذه غير محصورة بلون شعري معين، كما يؤشر إلى ما يتميز به من ثقافة عالية، وحس إنساني وجمالي ودفق شعري يصل إلى مرحلة الإشباع، دون رتابة ودون ملل. ما يعني امتلاك الشاعر حرفية واضحة في البناء واللغة والخيال والصور...
في القصيدة المعنونة "هيَ عشتروت" يقول الشاعر خالد موسى: "نظرت إليَّ كأنها ظمأى لحبٌ هالها
وتوقفت مُحتارة فهل الوقوفُ منالها
لعِب الهوى بفؤادِها فعلمتُ ما بمُرادِها
وضحِكتُ لكنْ هَل ضُحوكي سَرُها فأجابها...".
قدم للديوان بمقدمة الشاعر المسرحي عبد الكريم بعلبكي ومما جاء فيها: "الشاعر البقاعي خالد موسى ابن قب الياس الشامخة بمفكريها ومبدعيها وفنانيها، ينسج باكورة أعماله من تاريخ جميل قضاه بين الفرح والتأمل. كتب مفردات تكوينه يوم كان في الخدمة العسكرية، وبعدها استحضر مسيرته الشعرية والأدبية الإنسانية يوم انتسابه لهيئة الحوار الثقافي الدائم، فمثلها في مصر وأبدع على منابر الشعر حيثما حل (...).
هذا الديوان الذي جسّد بقصائده الوجدانية أجمل المقطوعات ثم قرأنا الغزلية الوطنية التي راحت تنمّ عن حبه وإخلاصه لوطنه عامة ولبلدته خاصة متحدياً طروحات الضالين الذين يدعون شعر التفرقة. كل هذا ظهر في كتاباته التي سعى من خلالها إلى إنارة الدرب في وجه من يسعى إلى الحياة الكريمة بوطنية صادقة سطّرها بمداد قدرة ظاهرة، وعبر منها إلى الوجود بأسلوب جزل، متين السبك، محكم العبارة؛ فأجاد بأسلوبه فكان من الجزالة ما ينم عن شخصية مرحة إيجابية. نظم الأغراض الشعرية، كالحكمة والغزل والاجتماعيات، والرثاء.. وغيرها (...)".
