قديماً قالوا: الموت لا يوجع الموتى.. بل يُوجع الأحياء، ولكن الشاعر "دغيثر الحكمي" اختار أفقاً آخر للرثاء وهو «نعيُ طفلٍ لم يُولد»! وبهذا المعنى يكون النص الشعري يعيد تشكيل الحدث (الولادة) عبر لا زمنيته... فهو استمرار لذاتٍ موصوفة أزلاً وحاضراً، فـ "الولادة" و"الموت" لا يتشكلان والعالم من حولهما – هنا – إلّا من خلال "ذهنيّة النص"؛ البؤرة المركزية التي يجتمع حولها الحدث ويتحرك منها وفي إطارها؛ حيث يعيد الشاعر اكتشاف هذه الذهنيّة وإعادة إنتاج نصّه في ضوءها بنوع من التناوب في التشكيل بين ذاته كشاعر وحركة عالم النص، إلى درجة يتحوّل معها النص برمته إلى صور محمّلة بالدلالات المكتظة بمأساوية المفارقة والغياب والفقدان الثاوي بمعاني الرحيل...
في القصيدة المعنونة «نعيُ طفلٍ لم يُولد» يقول الشاعر دغيثر الحكمي:
"أسيرُ ولستُ أدري ما طريقي؟! ... يُكَحِّلُني رمادٌ من حُروقي"
"وزادي الغيبُ تَرْصفُ لي يداهُ ... ظِلالَ الخوفِ مِن أمسٍ طليقِ"
"سأحفرُ في دموعي قبرَ صمتٍ ... وأصرخُ ثم أصرخُ كالغريقِ" "وأمنحُ جُثّتي موتاً كريماً ... وأرحلُ طائعًا بَعْدَ العقوقِ".
يضم الديوان قصائداً في الشعر العربي الموزون والمقفى، وأخرى في الشِعر العربي الحديث نذكر من العناوين: "فريضةُ الرّوح"، "مِن ضميرِ الطّريق"، "متواريًا في الظل"، "ضجيجُ الصّمت"، "مَخاضُ السبل"، "ملامحُ الذّاتِ الغائبة"، "فصلٌ مِن غربةِ الرّوح"، "ضميرٌ بارز مستترٌ"، "النهاية عند نقطة البدء"، "ذاكرة ميت"، (...) وقصائد أخرى.
