إن ما تؤكده الدراسات المختلفة، أن العقيدة الدينية في الإسلام تقف وراء مجمل الحضارة التي ازدهرت ومن ثم شعّ نورها فشمل معظم أرجاء العالم يومذاك. فكانت الحضارة العربية الإسلامية تلك، إذن، مستمدة ومستوحاة من فهم الشخصية المسلمة فهماً عميقاً للكون والحياة. وهذا الفهم تتوضح خطوطه وخيوطه من خلال المنهج القرآني الذي يقف على أسرار النفس البشرية، فيبدأ بمعالجة أمور الإنسان الحياتية والأخروية من هذا المنطلق، في هذا الكتاب الذي هو السابع في موسوعة القرآن وعلم النفس، يتناول الباحث الشخصية المسلمة وكينونتها حسب المنهج القرآني، ويوضح بأن الشخصية المسلمة بنور ربها تهتدي مبيناً وحدة العقيدة والترابط بين المكونات النظرية والتطبيقية ومبرزاً التكامل المنهجي بين العلم والإيمان وبأن للشخصية المسلمة دور في العلم والعمل. منتقلاً بعد ذلك للحديث عن أسباب التعلم ووسائله المسخرة من الله، وعن الشخصية المسلمة التي تستنير لعلمها بالإيمان وبانفتاح تلك الشخصية على من حولها لفهم كل شيء دون انغلاق على معارفها الخاصة متحركة ضمن أخلاقية علمية إيمانية ومن خلال شريعة ومنهاج محكمين، يحكمها الوازع الديني المنبثق عن الإيمان بالله وحده. هذه الأمور وغيرها تناولها الباحث على ضوء آيات القرآن الكريم الذي فتح الله به عليه لفهمها وإدراك مراميها التي ترتبط ارتباطاً مباشراً بالنفس الإنسانية.
