تحوّلت هذه الرواية إلى فيلم سينمائي بالعنوان نفسه وبدأ عرضه في صالات السينما في مختلف أنحاء العالم في بداية العام 2015؛ وقد أخرج الفيلم كلًّ من ريتشارد غلاتزر وواش ويستمورلاند، ولعبت دور البطولة فيه، إلى جانب الممثل أليك بالدوين، الممثلة القديرة جوليان مور، حيث فازت على دورها فيه بالعديد من الجوائز، كان آخرها جائزة الأوسكار.
تخرّجت ليزا جينوفا من جامعة بايتس بمرتبة التميز الأكاديمي، وقد حصلت على شهادة بعلم النفس العضوي، كما أنها تحمل دكتوراه في علم الأعصاب من جامعة هارفارد. ومن أعمالها الأدبية إلى جانب "لا تزال أليس"، "تًرِكَتْ" و"أُحب أنتوني".
