«هذيان امرأة عاشقة» نص في ماهية الحب واستبطانٍ لعوالمه وألِفته تطرح من خلاله الروائية "هند مطر" معنى أن يصاب المرء بالحب من النظرة الأولى.. ثم يغرق بالحب مع كل نظرة ولمحة جديدة.. تلك هي حالة بطلة روايتها "لين" اللبنانية الجنسية المقيمة في الكويت مع والديها اللذان لم يرزقا بغيرها؛ فنالت اهتمامهم حتى صارت مدللتهم وأميرتهم التي لم ينقصها سوى فارس الأحلام الذي سيملأ حياتها حباً.. فارس يحملها معه على جواده الأبيض لتعيش معه قصةَ حبٍّ أسطورية.. هكذا ظنت "لين".
ولأن لين كان الحب محرماً عليها في بلد غير بلدها ودين وطائفة غير طائفتها؛ عاشت كل سنين حياتها السبعة والعشرين هاجس البحث عن حب حياتها حتى وجدته في أول يوم عمل لها إنّه "طاهر" مديرها في العمل الذي استحوذ على كيانها وأصبح حبّه ملاذها.. ما جعلها تظن أنه المطلوب، وبأنه الشريك في الحياة والحب إلا أنها تكتشف إنّه كان حباً ناقصاً أو غير مكتمل. فهذا الـ "طاهر" متعدد العلاقات والعشيقات بالإضافة إلى كونه متزوجاً ولديه أولاد... وبعد تحدٍ للحياة تخوض "لين" تجربة الحب هذه بكل جرأة وبكل ما فيها من معاناة وألم واحتضار لحبٍّ تمردت صاحبته على المنطق والعادات والتقاليد.. تنتهي الرواية و"لين" جالسة على كرسي هزاز في غرفة أخصائية بالأمراض النفسية يرافقها والديها اللذان تركا الكويت نهائياً للاستقرار في لبنان والبقاء بجانب ابتنهما.. ولسان حال "لين" يقول: هذا ما أوصلني إليه الحب... كم أشعر بالشفقة على نفسي... لقد عانيت وتألمتُ بسبب حلمٍ اعتقدتُ بأنه سيتحقق، كنتُ فخورة بنفسي وبحبي وظننتُ بأنني أعيش قصة حبٍّ لا مثيل لها. بحثت عن الحب في عصر الخيانة ووجدته في قلوب جبانة...".
وبعد، "هذيان امرأة عاشقة" رواية عن جنون الحب، عن فتنته وعن المضي حتى النهاية في عوالمه الآسرة.. وطبيعته التجريدية بما هو علاقة بين طرفين من دون النظر إلى الظروف التي تحكم ذلك الحب..
