يشكل الموت الوجه الآخر للحياة في رواية «جنة الموت اللذيذ» للكاتب فادي شديد الذي اختار لبطولتها نفرٌ من الإنس وأنثى من الجن فجمعهما على غير موعد.. في مقبرة.. وكلٌ كان يبكي محبوبه.. هي قصة جميل الذي لا يحسن النوم إلا على نشاز صديقه الخفاش والجنية سرقريسة أجمل جميلات الكون والتي حاولت إدخال هذا الـ "جميل" في دهاليز عالمها وإنقاذه من الموت بعدما فقد زوجته وابنه؛ فشعر أنه سقط في بئرٍ ليس له قرار، وعليه أن يختار بين عالم الإنس بكل ما فيه من بغضاء وتناوش أو بين عالم الجن بصراعاته وغموض ألغازه!! الأمر المهم في هذا الاشتغال السردي هو أن السارد/البطل بعد بثه صور الموت بأشكاله المتعددة انتقل مباشرة إلى عرض محكي لا علاقة له بعالم الجن، وإنما بالعالم الحقيقي الذي يعيشه.. ومنه، علاقته بوالدته وزوجته وأولاده وأصدقائه ويتمظهر ذلك من خلال تقنية اشتغال سردية تحيل بمحمولها الى القضية الفلسطينية. فتحضر بين السطور مجزرة دير ياسين وما كُتب عنها، وتداعيات قمة كامب ديفيد الثانية التي كانت تهدف إلى تصفية الوجود الفلسطيني، وعودة بالزمن إلى وعد بلفور، وما جرى في أراضي الضفة وقطاع غزة، وأسرى مضى على اعتقالهم أكثر من ثلاثين سنة عانقهم ذووهم قبل أن يعانقهم الهواء... وحياة أخرى فيها الكثير من الألم ومن الشهادة..
