"أنت لا تعبرُ النهر مرتين"، مقولة ترنم بها (هيراقليطس)، ومنذ أن قالها وكل شيء في تغير مستمر، بدءاً من الإنسان ومعلوماته وثقافاته وعقائده إلى مصطلحاته ومفهوماته ومناهجه، حتى أصاب التغير الجمادات مثلما أصاب الكائنات الحية. نسوق هذا الكلام للتعبير عما يريد أن يقوله نادر رنتيسي في نصوصه السردية التي وسمت بـ (الافتراضية) اعتمدت بشكل واضح على بنية حكائية سردية، تزاوج السرد بالحوار مع وصف ابتدائي "أنت تحذف نصف عمرك" في اعتراف من الكاتب أن "الزمن تغير"، وأن إنسان العصر أصبح مثل جهاز الحاسوب الحديث. إذا ما تعرض لعائق ما أجرى عملية update سريعة، يتخلصُ بعدها من أثر أي صدمة.
لقد أفلح نادر رنتيسي في توصيف واقع الناس بعد دخول التكنولوجيا، مرافق حياتهم المختلفة، في المنزل والعمل امتداداً إلى العلاقات الاجتماعية، لا بلّ أقحمت هذه الأخيرة حتى المشاعر الإنسانية، في نصه المعنون بـ "update سريع للإحساس": نقرأ "... دلني على عاشق في العام 2010 يستطيع البكاءَ 57 دقيقة وهو يستمعُ إلى "قارئة الفنجان"، بعدما يتأكدُ أن حبيبته "ليس لها عنوان"! أقسمتُ له أن ذلك النوع من العشاق انقرض منذ مجاراة "وردة الجزائرية" و"ميادة الحناوي" الإيقاع السريع مطلع التسعينيات، وأعظم حالة حزنٍ يعيشها العاشق الآن ثلاث دقائق خفيفة الكآبة، يكتشف فيها "عمرو دياب" أن الحب "كدَّاب كبير"، وفي الدقيقة الرابعة من الأغنية التالية تراه متقافزاً (مع عشر فتيات) يجزمُ بإيقاع فائق السرعة، أنه وصل إلى درجة حب لم يبلغها أحد قبله! (...)".
جاء الكتاب في ثلاثة وعشرون نصاً، كتبت في عناوين لافتة، لم يستخدم فيها الكاتب لغة المجازات كما فعل غيره من ذو الشأن المعرفي، وإنما كانت مكاشفة صريحة، وهذا ما يميزه عن غيره.
من عناوين الكتاب نذكر: "لماذا لا تبكي النساء؟!"، "انتظريني في الجيل الخلوي الثالث!"، "كفّ بخمس أصابع وهاتفين"، "بلا كريدت"، "نساء دوت كوم!"... إلخ.
