"هل تساءلت يوماً ما هو الحلّ لقلبك المصاب بالتخمة؟ جربت الكتابة ولا زلت تجرب آملاً أن تكون هذه الوسيلة هي العلاج؟ وكلما كتبت الخواطر والقصائد وبعض السطور هنا وهناك يزداد قلبك في التضخم ولا يبدو للنور أي أثر في نفق حياتك المظلم!! هل تساءلت عن سبب بكاءك المفاجئ في أيام لم يحصل فيها أي حدث حقيقي يعكر مزاجك؟ ماذا عن فرصة تحليلك للأمور من منظار خارجي؟ ماذا عن مصارحتك ما يدور في دماغك لأعز أصدقاءك؟ فعلت كل هذا ولا يزال قلبك في الانتفاع وعلى شفا حفرة من الانفجار! ثم وفي زحمة هذه التساؤلات ووسط كل هذه الدوامات الخيالية والواقعية، وعند لحظة استسلامك للبؤس واليأس وكل الحالات السلبية، يبزغ الجواب، وتشرق الحقيقة كنور الشمس بأسنانها البراقة: عليك الافصاح عن مكنونات قلبك وخلجات قفصك الصدري لهم! عليك اطلاق فراشات معدتك لتطير في وجوههم.
اعتراف: أستخدم ضمائر متعددة في كتاباتي وأنا أعني شخص بعينه ليسهل على قلبي "الفضفضة" عنه".
بهذه العبارات تقدم الكاتبة دينا صوفي كتابها (ضَمَائِرْ) الغرض منه – كما تقول – توثيق كتلة من المشاعر والتجارب والأحداث لأنثى سعودية من الطبقة الكادحة! فبعد ثلاثين أو أربعين أو خمسين سنة سيود أحدهم معرفة كيف كانت جدة جدة جدته تعيش، وها هو الكتاب يا ابن حفيد صديقي القارئ يوضح لك جزءاً صغيراً من الماضي!.
من أجواء الكتاب نقرأ نصاً بعنوان "ثورة الواقع"، تقول الكاتبة:
"عالم من المشاعر المبعثرة في كل مكان
يغلفُهُ منطق أحمق وحب أعمى
وإحساس بانعدام الأمان
أحببت وحلمت بحكاية خيالية تبدأ بـــ:
في قديم الزمان وسالف العصر والأوان
وتنتهي بارتطامي بواقع مرير الآن".
يتألف الكتاب من مقدمة وأربعة عناوين رئيسة انطوت تحتها ضمائر الكتاب وهي: 1- ضمير المتكلمين، 2- ضمير المخاطب، 3- رسائل ضمير الغائبين، 4- حوارات ضمائر المتكلمين.
