التأمل صورة من صور العبادة، وطقس مقدّس في هذه الحياة. كلّ ما حولنا، إن أصغينا لنداءاته، يدعونا للتأمل والتفكر ليمدَّ عقولنا بما تنشده من آثار تتمخّض عنه.
سأظلم سنوات الطب التي مضت برفقتي إن كتبت أن هذه خلاصة تجربة دراسة الطب، لا يمكن أن تكون كذلك.
الطب حكاية لا تُختصر، تجربة الطب ثرية إلى الحد الذي لا يمكن أن يدركه من لم يعايشها.
طب الأبدان لا يسعى لتعليمك أعراض الأسقام وتشخيصها وفحوصاتها فقط، فالمشوار أوسع من ذلك بكثير، ولكلٍّ حكايته في هذا الطريق. لكل من مر فيه الخيار بأن يجعل الطريق ضيقاً، بالكاد يتسع للعلم، أو أن يصيّره واسعاً شاملاً لجوانب قد لا تُختصر ولا تُحصَر.
اخترت أن تكون حكايتي شمولية لا تقتصر على مرض وتشخيصه، اخترت أن أرى ما بين الحكايات وما خلف الشكوى، وأن أبحث في جوهر الإنسان. اخترت أن أذكر أن الله وهب العلم وأخفى عنا الكثير منه وأن هناك الكثير الذي لم يُعرف في هذا الطريق، وهنا يتجلّى وهن الإنسان وقلة حيلته مهما أظهر خلاف ذلك. اخترت أن تكون رسالتي للعلم والعطاء والنفع، وألا يكون الطب عائقاً بل دافع للمزيد في الطب وفي غيره.
وأن أسعى للطبيب الإنسان، بروح ذاتِ تبصُّر.
