في روايتها «هزات الشعور» تسرد الكاتبة غدير القطري حالة معاناة خاصة متميزة لفتاة تعاني من الاكتئاب والعزلة بسبب صدمة نفسية جعلتها تفكر في الماضي باستمرار وتشعر أن ليس لديها حاضر يستحق العيش لأجله والتفكير به. هذا هو تشخيص الطبيبة النفسية المشرفة على علاج "غيداء" الفتاة التي اكتشفت عن طريق الصدفة أن أمها التي ربتها وعاشت معها منذ ولادتها ليست هي أمها الحقيقية.. الشيء الذي جعلها تتأثر بهذا الواقع الجديد بكل أبعاده. وللخروج من هذه الحالة بدأت بكتابة رواية عنونتها بـ «هزات الشعور» تجد فيها متسعاً للروي والتحدث عن نفسها، وعن عائلتها، وعن صديقاتها، فسلّطت الضوء على قضايا اجتماعية ونسوية حول علاقة الرجل بالمرأة سلباً وإيجاباً. وهنا تكمن براعة الكاتبة/الراوية في إظهار بنيةٌ جديدةٌ للسرد، تعتمد على تعدد الأصوات، حيث تدلي كل شخصيةٍ في الرواية بمواقفها، اعتماداً على نظام الفقرات، لتمييز كل حالة عن أخرى ضمن سردٍ تطل منه أيديولوجيا الكاتبة المعتدلة أكثر بإيجابيتها وشموليتها لواقع المجتمع العربي وحرية المرأة، مع تقدير أهمية الأنوثة وتلمُّس ذلك الشعور الراقي المليئ بالعطاء والحبّ. فكتبت بصدق المرأة العارفة – الواعية لحقيقة كينونتها الإنسانية حتى في أشد حالات الفقد وفي هذا تقول:
"الكثير رحلوا عن هذه الدنيا وأكثرهم لهم تأثيراً على حياتنا، رحيلهم سبب لنا هزات الشعور على مدى السنوات وسيبقى ذلك الشعور مدى العمر الذي سنعيشه لذلك علينا تخفيف حدته ورعايتهم بالدعاء".
