بوح أنثوي شفيف هو مصدر وحي الشاعرة زهراء ماجد وإلهامها وإحساسها ترسم حروفه «بين ثنايا الألم» حيث يقبع "زُحَّل"، العابر بين سماء وسماء وهاهي ترقبه يدنو من محراب امرأة ليقيم معها صلات عشقٍ تؤنّسنّ كل وحشة مرت بها. فتبوح له الأخيرة بألمها قبل أن يعبر بها إلى ملكوت الأرواح لتعيش تجربة حياة أخرى لا تعرف إن كانت واقع أم حُلمْ.
تقول الشاعرة في النص المعنون «واقعُ أم حُلم»: "أصبحتُ حائرةً لا أعي هل أنا في واقعٍ أو حُلم، فالحلم لربما صار واقعاً، ولربما الواقعُ تاهَ في واقعهِ فاستحال حُدوثه، وإن حدث ما الذي سيحدث؟ فلم أعد اهتمُ، فالهمومُ أغرقتني في بحرِها والبحرُ عميقُ، والعمقُ أسرني، والأسرُ طويلُ، والجسدُ لا يقوى على أسراهُ، فَمِن أين يُفُكّ الأسرُ؟ فتلكَ العُقدُ عقدتني لِعقودٍ من عُمري، فضاعَ عُمري، ومن أين أجدُ عُمراً جديداً. (...)".
عبر هذا الفضاء الإبداعي الآسر تأتي النصوص، أما عن علاقة بعضها بالشعر فيكمن في كونها ابداعاً ناتجاً عن إلهام مفاجئ من صنع الخيال يأتي من داخل الحدس أكثر من التفكير.. وربما هذا راجع لقدرة الكاتبة على التلاعب بالنظام اللغوي بين المعيارية والإيحائية، وخاصة أن النصوص تمظهرت في صورٍ تحملُ رؤية الإحباطات التي تواجهها المرأة في عالمنا اليوم. وهذا التوظيف يجعل من هذه النصوص أقرب إلى القصة القصيرة التي تستعير من النص الشعري إمكاناته ومعاييره.
قدمت الكاتبة لعملها بمقدمة ومما جاء فيها: "بين ثنايا الألم بدأت النّصوص بكتابة نفسها شيئاً فشيئاً حتى اكتملت الثنايا، ثنية تلي الأخرى، وتعدّدت الأحزان على الصفحات، فها أنتَ ذا ترى كتاباً كاملاً من الألم، وفي رحلتك هذه سيكون كتابي خير رفيقٍ لك في كلّ وقت.. ملاحظتان مهمّتان:
- اقرأ بأحاسيسك، لا بحواسّك فقط.
- ليست جميع النصوص تمثل شيئاً حدث في حياتي، بعضها كُتِبَت وصفاً لقصص حدثت لأشخاص مقرّبين، وبعضها بسبب مشاعر عابرة".
يضم الكتاب نصوصاً تتراوح بين السرد والنثر والشعر العربي الحديث نذكر من العناوين: "دوامة الشُّعور"، "قانون القلب"، "تحوّل زَهرة"، "تناقضات الحواس"، "فقدُ البصر"، "حِيرةُ العُمرِ الطويل"، "ما من رحيل"، (...) وعناوين أخرى.
