خالطت الكثير من الناس عندهم الكثير من الأفكار الإبداعية لا ينقصها سوى البداية ثم العمل والجد والاجتهاد، لكن للأسف ينتهي الحديث وتنتهي الأفكار بسجنها في الذاكرة التي سرعان ما تختفي وتضيع في زحام الحياة.
هذا جعلني أفكر كثيراً بتأليف هذا الكتاب، الذي حاولت فيه أن ألامس قلب كل من يقرأها، وأن يجد من يقرأ هذا المحتوى ضالته التي طالما بحث عنها. كما حاولت جاهداً إيصال الفكرة المطلوبة كما أريدها بأسلوب قصصي ممتع، وأن أشحذ همتي وأحفزها وكذلك من حولي لنكسر حواجز المستحيل التي صنعناها ونتغلب عليها...
ولأن الكلام هنا لا يختص بفئة دون أخرى، بل جميع الفئات العمرية يتابع المؤلف بالقول: حاولت أن أنفض غبار الكسل واليأس والاستسلام عن نفوس شبابنا وفتياتنا خاصة - ونفوس الكبار والصغار – وأن العالم مفتوح على مصراعيه لكل من أراد أن يقدم أي عمل.
نقلت في هذا الكتاب تجارب الشرق والغرب من شتى الأماكن والاتجاهات، قصص أناس أوردتها كانوا يشتكون الفقر والجهل أو الظلم، أناس أصيبوا بشلل رباعي أو نصفي ثم سطروا أسماءهم من ذهب على مر العصور، وأناس وجدوا كل مقومات الفشل واليأس لكن عزائمهم كانت أقوى، وطموحهم أعلى، وثقتهم بأنفسهم أسمى.
تحت عنوان "أقوال تختصر الطريق" نقرأ:
- ابدأ بالأهم فالمهم، وإياك والشتات وتوزيع الجهد على عدة أعمال فإنه حيرة وعجز.
- من جد في شبابه ساد في شيخوخته.
- تذكر أن في القرآن: سارعوا، سابقوا، ورابطوا، وجاهدوا، وصابروا.
- قيمة كل امرئ فيما يُحسن.
