سأعرض لك في "كشكول الحب" كراسة رائعة، فيها قصص شتى، وأحاديث بعضها لا يزال يروى، ترى معي نوادر تتحرك لها الطباع، وتهش لها الأسماع، تسر المحزون، أصفى من رائق الشراب، وأبهى من أيام الشباب، طعمتها لك بأبيات أعذب من الماء الزلال، وألطف من السحر الحلال، لو قرئت على الحجارة لانفجرت. خذ هذا العمل مني جليساً لوحدتك، وأنيساً لوحشتك، يسرع لفظه إلى أذنك كما يسرع معناه إلى قلبك، لأننا سنتحدث فيه عن فاكهة الحديث، عن الحب وسره العصي، هذه الكلمة المنمقة "الحب" التي دار حولها لأولون وسموها بتسميات عديدة لكم المعنى بقي واحداً وهو الحب. وكما أن لسكان الأسكيمو خمسين كلمة لمعنى الثلج لأنه يشكل جزءاً كبيراً من الحياة بالنسبة لهم، كذلك الحب، له معان كثيرة وأسماء عديدة لمن يعيشه، لكنه يبقى هو ذلك المبهم "الحب" والحب لمن يعيشه! سنفجر في هذا الكشكول براكين الحب الخامدة في داخل كل إنسان، سنعيش الحب بفطرة سليكة، لا نتكلف فعله، ولا نتقمص فيه أدوار المحبين، لكن نحاول بقدر الاستطاعة إخراجه من داخل النفوس، فهو كامن ككمون الشرر، نحن من نريد حبسه لأننا نعاني منه الكثير!
