يقدم الباحث في هذا الكتاب النقدي الأدبي، تحليلاً وشرحاً لفّك رموز الشيفرة الشعرية لدى الشاعر أدونيس، والتي تتمظهر دلالتها "ومعناها على المستوى المنهجي، بوصفها المفتاح الأول والأصيل" الذي يفتح أمامنا أبواب النص، للعمل على تحليله وتأويله وفتح آفاق معانيه ومعطياته الواسعة، وللتأمل بدقة وبمعاينة أكثر عمقاً، في فعالية تكوين هذه الشيفرة.
إن المعنى الشعري، في أنموذجه الإشكالي، ساحة لعب حرّة ودينامية ومفتوحة بشكل دائم على الاحتمال، تتجلى فيها كل المهارات والخبرات والبراعات وصولاً إلى استشراف تجربة المعنى. وفكرة المنهج هي التي تحمل في مقدمتها سهام الشيفرة، وهي التي "تمضي بها إلى حيث تتمكّن من تمثيل التجربة وتشفيرها عبر لعبة المعنى"، وتتدرج مستوياتها على ثلاثة مستويات متداخلة تداخلاً فعالاً وأصيلاً وحراً ودينامياً، وهي المستوى النظري والإجرائي والتداولي.
يقسّم الباحث دراسته إلى مدخلين، يبحث الأول في الواقعية النصيّة، ويتضمن تحليلا عن الفضاء التشكيلي للنص الأدبي، وعن القراءة وأنواعها وجمالياتها و"طاقة اللعب فيها"، وعن القارئ واستراتجية الفهم ودوره الفاعل في المشاركة والإبداع، وعن منهجية التلقي، وتلقي الشعر، وتلقي أدونيس الشاعر، ليلج حين ذاك المدخل الثاني، متعمقاً في عالم الشاعر أدونيس، مفصلاً تفاصيل مشروعه الأدونيسي، ومسهباً في شرح شعرية قصائده، خاصة تلك التي يسميها "القصيدة السير ذاتية"، وينتقل إلى "الشعرية الباصرة بين الرؤية والرؤيا" حيث "تبلغ آلية التشخيص الشيفري في هذا الميدان الشعري التأملي أعلى مستوياتها" لدى الشاعر، "إذ لأدونيس في صفحة أخرى من تجربته اشتغال حيّ على التجربة الروحية في مجال "الرؤيا" من داخل بؤرة الحرفة وعبرها، مخترقاً منطقها ومتجاوزاً وعيها التقني إلى وعي التجربة الروحية وتجربة الحياة الضاجّة بالحراك الدينامي..".
بعين نافذة، وقدرة كبيرة على التلقي والإحساس والتحليل، يقدم المحلل الأدبي والناقد بحثاً دقيقاً في هذا الكتاب المخصص لأدونيس الشاعر، الذي جرّب "في مسيرته الشعرية الحافلة بثراء الزمن، وشساعة المكان، وعمق الرؤيا، وبهاء التشكيل واللعب على سطوح الأشياء والتوغل الوحشي في بواطنها، كل أنواع الكتابة..".
