يقدم بدربان بمغامرات شيقة، من خلال صفحة كتاب عبر الزمن، في مدن تراثية، ليبحث فيها عن حل لمشكلة تواجهه. يجد بدربان هذا الكتاب في مكتبة قديمة في مدرسته، عند مسح الغبار عنه، تتحرك شخصيتان مرسومتان داخله، فتكلمانه وتشكرانه على تحريرهما من الجماد الذي لحق بهما مدة طويلة. تدعو الشخصيتان بدربان لاكتشاف ما تحويه هذه الكتب، المرمية على الرفوف، من كنوز مخبأة، فيوافق على القيام بهذه المغامرة لأنها ستساعده على حل مشكلته. بطريقة غريبة يدخل بدربان الصفحة معهما، فيحلقون عالياً بين رفوف الكتب وفوق الصفحات. ثم يدخلون إحداها ويصبحون داخل مدينة عربية قديمة ذات أهمية. يعيش بدربان مع رفيقيه في زمن مغاير، أحداثاً ومواقف لا يجدها في كتبه المدرسية، وتزرع في نفسه بذور متفائلة لانطلاقة جديدة، رغم المخاطر الشديدة التي واجهته أثناء هذه المغامرة. ويجدر الاشارة الى أن هذا الكتاب قد حاز على جائزة النادي الثقافي العربي أفضل الكتب إخراجاً المرتبة الثانية - لبنان لعام 2006 .
