روبرت جيلمور: تخرَّجَ عامَ ١٩٦٢م في قسمِ الفيزياءِ والرياضياتِ بمعهدِ ماساتشوستس للتكنولوجيا، وأصبحَ مُحاضِرًا في المعهدِ عامَ ١٩٦٧م، ثم أستاذًا مساعِدًا عامَ ١٩٧٠م. انتقلَ بعد ذلك للعملِ في جامعةِ جنوبِ فلوريدا حيث أصبحَ أستاذًا مُتفرِّغًا عامَ ١٩٧٦م، وانتقلَ خلالَ العامِ نفسِه إلى جامعةِ دركسل. كتبَ «جيلمور» الكثيرَ من الأوراقِ البحثيةِ في مجالاتٍ عدَّة، من بينها: الديناميكا اللاخَطِّية، ونظريةُ الكارثة، والديناميكا الحرارية، وميكانيكا الكَم، والفيزياءُ النوويةُ والذريةُ والجُزيئية، والشبكاتُ الكَمِّية.
