سمير قنوع، طبيب وشاعر سوري الجنسية من مواليد دمشق 1971 وهو نجل الفنان السوري الراحل عمر قنوع، درس في مدارس دمشق وتخرج من جامعتها كطبيب بشري عام 1994، حازعلى درجة الزمالة العربية في طب الأطفال عام 1999، ويعمل حاليا كاستشاري في طب الأطفال في دولة قطر.
من منشوراته السابقة ديوان شطآن الفراشات وديوان مراكب العودة عن دار رسلان في دمشق، وتعتبر أنشودة البرد والحرية عن دار الآداب في بيروت عمله الروائي الأول.
