عدّ شياهك. تفقد هلا هيلك. مد اللوم كالخطوة حتى تبحر. هنا شوارع تنزل بك دون درج. خيول على رقبة حبل. تنسدل كصهيل وتترك نحاس سرجها: هل الشهدي التي في ماء البحر الكحلي فضة على مخمل؟ نجوماً؟ أرواحاً لصيادي قدامى ذهبت في البحر؟ عندما كان خربوشة تلاوين زرقاء لطفلة ابتدائية احتفظ خشب المدرسة بطعم شفتيها في علكة لصقتها أسفل المقعد. علق شباكك المترابطة في حليب قلبك، كأنك حاج مد السبابة فطرياً كلما وحّد الله. شعره خالد عبد الله، يعتمد المفارقة الخاطفة، متوغلاً في التفاصيل المشاعية اليومية معيداً إنتاجها من جديد، ليستخلص منها سلسلة حالات إنسانية تفاجئ القارئ في عمقها وحدّتها وطرافتها أيضاً، وشعره لغة تبتعد عن التكلف، لغة بسيطة متناغمة مع بساطة الأشياء التي تحفل بها قصائد الديوان.
شعر خالد عبد الله يتوغل في التفاصيل اليومية لكي يُعيد إنتاج دلالاتها ويستخلص منها-وفيها-سلسلة حالات إنسانية تفاجئنا في عمقها وحدتها وطرافتها أيضاً. كما أنّ اللغة بسيطة متناغمة مع بساطة الأشياء التي تَحفل بها قصائد هذا الديوان.
وقد مُنحت جائزة الشعر، في المسابقة الذي تنظّمها مؤسسة عبد المحسن القطان ضمن برنامجها للثقافة والعلوم للعام 2001، إلى خالد عبد الله من مجموعته هذه "FM".
