من بيت يصْدحُ في أرجائه صوتُ والدِها، مردّداً قصائد قديمة مِثْلما تُدندَنُ الأغنيات، إلى مراهَقة مسكونة بالكتبِ، بالموسيقى، بالعالم الفيروزي الرَّحب، إتجهت لدراسة الحقوق إستجابةً لنبوءة ٍ قديمة، رغم شغفها باللغات والكتابة.
درّست اللّغة الفرنسية قبل أن تنتقل للعمل في مجالَيْ الإدارة والقانون.
ولكنّ الشّعر بقي في كل مراحل حياتها حاضراً، ينتظر فرصته المغطّاة بغبار المشاغل وعجْقةِ اليوميّات.
ديوانها الأول "متْل السّكت" لا يشكّل بدايةً بقدر ما يشكّل تمرّداً على "السَّكْت" وامتداداً لما كانته وما حلمت به.
