عمل كصحفي متعاون مع صحيفة الجزيرة ثم مجلة الشرق كصحفي يبحث عن الانتعاق ..
كتب في المجلة العربية وصحيفة المدينة والبلاد والرياض حاز على جائزة تسلمها من سمو الأمير سلمان بن عبد العزيز للمركز الاول لأفضل قاص عام 2001 في صحيفة الرياض
Book Description
وجوه أهل القرية لم تعد كما كانت، لقد تمكّن من ملامحها الحزن. المكان مصابٌ بالقحط والجوع وانقطاع المطر. ترك بعض سكانه كل شيء خلفهم، واتجهوا صوب المدينة. آخرون مكثوا في القرية المنكوبة، صابرين ومحتسبين لله. يخرجون كل صباح، ويجلسون في الطرقات، يسمعون حديثَ بعضهم بعضاً، والحسرة تبدو في أعينهم.
فجأة، يظهر سعيد النخّال الرجل الخمسيني الذي يرفل بملابس الثراء ليستغل حاجة الناس ويشتري أراضيهم بأسعار رخيصة، مستملكاً القرية. وحده الشيخ مرزوق المعروف باستقامته ونزاهته، يقف في وجه المخطّطات التي تُدبّر بخبث، محاولاً إقناع السكان بعدم بيع أراضيهم.
