Book Description
تهبط المركبة الفضائية اضطراريًا على كوكب الأرض, المصادفة أن المركبة سقطت في "موقف ميكروباصات العاشر بالقاهرة" يخرج الكائن "ميلانوفيا" ليجد نفسه بين كائنات البشر العجيبة في هذا المكان الأعجب, بسرعة يقوم ميلانوفيا بتعديل هيئته لتشبه البشر ومحاولة دراسة الموقف للتعرف على طرق للرجوع لكوكبه, أثناء ذلك يعجب بفتاة بشرية تحاول ركوب الميكروباص المتجه إلى مقاطعة أرضية تسمى "المرج" يحاول مساعدتها للتعرف عليها, غير أن أحد الكائنات الأرضية من ولاد الحرام يفعل للفتاة حركة مشينة فيبدأ الضرب مع صوت صراخ البنت, الضرب من كل اتجاه وبكل الطرق الأرضية المعروفة والجديدة على كائن غير بشري, يفيق في استقبال مستشفى عام حكومي بين كل ما يحيط به من جنون أثناء تجمع سيدات في ملابس سوداء تضرب طبيب الإستقبال ويصرخون في وجهه بعبارات غير مفهومة, فيقرر القضاء على كوكب الأرض لكي يرحم المجرة من هذا الخطر المحتمل, غير أن سكان العالم كله يحاولون الوصول له للتفاوض معه لأن العالم ليس موقف العاشر.
