ان مئات النساء اللاتي يلقن حتفهن سنوياً في عدد من البلدان الاسلامية بتهم تتعلق بالشرف ولا يلقى قتلتهن العقوبة المناسبة للجريمة هن الموؤودات الجدد والبنات اللاتي يزوجن في سن لا يسمح لهن حتى بمجرد فهم ما يحدث هن ايضاً من الموؤودات الجدد. ان المرأة التي لا يسمح لها بأن تقرر بنفسها اجراء عملية جراحية في وضعية استعجالية وقد تفقد حياتها بسبب ذلك وتمنع من ان تقرر بنفسها الدخول الى المستشفى عند الحاجة والطالبة التي يمنع فريق الانقاذ من الدخول الى الجامعة لإنقاذها من ازمة قلبية بدعوى منع الاختلاط وتموت في مقتبل العمر بسبب ذلك ، وتلميذات المدارس اللاتي يختطفن من على مقاعد الدراسة وتتم معاملتهن على انهن سبايا حرب ويهددن بالبيع بصفتهن ملك يمين، والشابات اللاتي يزج بهن في حروب قذرة ليكن (مجاهدات نجاح) ويشرع ذلك كله بالفتاوى... هؤلاء جزء من الموؤودات الجدد او من مشروع موؤودات مع تأجيل التنفيذ.
